Taxi from the railway station
Taxi stands are located at the eastern (Bahnhofsplatz) and western (Bahnhofsallee) exits of the railway station. The latter is most convenient if you arrive by the rapid train ICE (Inter City Express). Tell the taxi driver to go to Weende, Universität-Nord, Tammannstraße 6.
Public bus
Click here for a link to the detailed time-tables of the Göttinger Verkehrsbetriebe (in German). On workdays during business hours buses circulate every 30 minutes at least. Tickets can be bought from the driver in the bus.

From the railway station
Leave the railway station to the east (Bahnhofsplatz, Berliner Straße). The bus terminal (ZOB, Zentraler Omnibus Bahnhof) is located at the southern (right hand) side of Bahnhofsplatz. Take line no. 21 or 23 direction "Auf der Lieth/Faßberg" to bus stop Tammannstraße.
From the center of the city
Departure is favorable from bus stop Jüdenstraße some 150 m east of Altes Rathaus (old city hall), Markt. Take line no. 22 (or 41) direction Auf der Lieth (Stumpfe Eiche) to bus stop Tammannstraße (Goldschmidtstraße).
By car
Leave the Autobahn (motorway) A7 (E45) at the exit Göttingen-Nord. Continue 4 km on Bundesstraße B27 to Göttingen-Weende to the crossing with Hannoversche Straße (traffic lights). Continue 600 m straight on Bundesstraße B27 (An der Lutter), just 50 m before a bridge (Robert-Koch-Straße) crosses the road. Turn right, then left, following the signs to Universität-Nord or Polizei (police). Continue on Robert-Koch-Straße 350 m north, turn right (east) into Goldschmidtstraße, after 150 m turn left (north) into Tammannstraße and continue for another 150 m.
